Stella is an extremely well-loved and affectionate sweetheart. She is her owner’s heart, protector and gives her piece of mind to sleep at night. She loves to play and wrestle and she eats EVERYTHING! Stella listens to what you tell her and knows “sit”, “down”, and gives a paw when she says hello to someone. She is cautious of new people, but as soon as she warms up to you, you can’t shake her. Stella may be a bit spoiled, but only because she deserves it! She has separation anxiety and must be re-homed with Jager.
Jager is a handsome, gentle giant 4-year old lab mix. Originally a neighbor’s dog, he fell in love with his best friend Stella and became part of the family. Unfortunately, Jager and Stella’s mom is losing her home at the end of this month and urgently needs a new forever home for her beloved fur children. Jager is very smart. Listens when you tell him “no” and gets along with any dog he meets. He can be the protector, but Stella is generally the boss of the house. Jager is very afraid of fireworks and loud booms. He used to be afraid of cats, but now he loves them. He can be high energy, but not out of control. A good 30 minute walk is great for exercise. He is very bonded with Stella and must be fostered or adopted together so he does not get depressed.
Both are house trained indoor dogs and lived as family member. The owner will sign them over and any medical care will be covered for each dog if we can find good foster home with rescue group commitment in Los Angeles, Orange County or San Diego area.
