Nugget is the sweetest boy you'll ever meet! He takes guarding the house very seriously. He will get up in the middle of the night, make sure the house is safe and lay back down at the foot of the bed... every single night, without disturbing anyone. He is very observant and intelligent, and has taught himself how to open doors! His perfect day would consist of waking up, going outside for some fresh air, chewing on some kibble here and there (whenever he feels hungry), having his human throw the ball around the yard for a bit, and taking long naps on his favorite dog bed or near your feet. If he had another dog to play with, he would love that too, but he also does well alone.

 

Nugget loves everyone he meets, but can be a little shy at first when getting to know you. Once he warms up, forget it - your heart will be stolen! Wait until you hear the cute noises he makes when playing with other dogs - it's almost like horn! He is a very unique pup and is an amazingly loyal family dog!

 

Nugget is looking for a new home because his owner is having to sell his big yard and move into an apartment due to a separation. His owner thinks it would be very selfish of her to keep Nugget locked up all day in a small space, because he loves running through the yard and bathing in the sun so very much. Having a fenced yard for him to play in is an absolute must for his happiness.
