Are you looking to give a home to a rescued cat and accept it for who it is? Then please consider precious Nugget. Adorable Nugget was rescued while he was scrounging for food with a dog food can stuck on his head. He is very cute and sweet! However, due to being rescued at about 5 months of age, he missed out on early socialization as a young kitten. He does not like to be picked up or held. He is a little shy and skittish and will need time to feel comfortable and safe with his new guardians and surroundings. However, once he knows and trusts you, he is affectionate on his own terms. He will rub up to you, come up for petting and sleep on your lap and/or the bed with you! He's looking for a family that is understanding and accepting and will have ample time to give him to acclimate, as well as the time, TLC and interactive play (feather wand toy, etc..) needed for socialization. He is looking for a 'furever' quiet, indoor only home. He loves being able to spend time in an outdoor catio and, therefore, a home with a catio would be ideal! He gets along with other cats and dogs. Nugget is healthy and has been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, tested negative for FIV/FeLV and is microchipped.
