Nicole (aka Nikki) came into the Devore shelter at just 4-months old, found as a stray in a field near Muscoy. A family in Orange County adopted her and she has been in a safe and loving home for 2 years now. They are an older couple who yearned for a dog after losing their pet from old age. They love and adore Nikki to the moon, but sadly the wife recently fell and broke her hip and is staying in a long term care facility. The husband visits her daily and can no longer give Nikki the care and attention she needs, so she needs to be rehomed with a loving family as soon as possible.

Nikki is very sweet. She spends most of the day in her gorgeous backyard, and can come in and out of through the sliding door in the family room where she sleeps at night indoors. Nikki is very loving  and playful, loves treats and toys, walks well on leash and is spayed, microchipped and current on all her shots. She is so sweet and is going to miss her home, doghouse, bed and family to no end.  Nikki is the only pet in this home, but was with other dogs in her foster home before being adopted in 2022.
