Cookie is a 6-year-old, 8-pound Cavapoo who is incredibly affectionate and happiest when she’s the center of attention with humans. A true certified lap dog, she lives for pets, cuddles, and companionship. Cookie loves going on walks, playing with her people and dog toys, but she just really loves human contact and attention. She is great with kids, and tolerates other dogs, but ideally would love to be the star of the show in a home where she’s the only pup.

Cookie's current family loves her deeply, but their busy work and social schedules are tough on a pup who thrives on human contact. It pains them greatly to give up their fur baby, but they want the best life possible for her filled with attention. Her ideal home will be with someone who is home most of the time—whether you’re retired, work from home, or simply live a quieter lifestyle where Cookie can be your little shadow. Cookie is not aggressive, but can be a little standoffish with new people at first—barking out of protectiveness more than anything. Once she warms up, though, she’s all love and snuggles. Cookie is smart (hence the name), loyal, and incredibly loving—a little dog with a huge heart who wants to be loved like the baby she thinks she is.
