Maggie is a sweet dog who loves to give kisses, get belly rubs and chase water from the hose. Check out her video below to see what a calm, gentle soul she is!  She is smart, and will learn from an attentive leader. She can sit, shake and stay, and is trained to confine her business to a paved/graveled section of the yard.

True to the Dutch Shepherd breed, she is an excellent guard dog, as she will bark when strangers enter the property or come to the door, but will quiet down as soon as she knows they are welcome. She enjoys being outdoors most of the day, and does not bark or whine when left alone, though she is always eager for attention and company. She can be selective with her canine friends and cannot share a home with cats. The ideal home for Maggie will have a loving and experienced dog owner who understands the importance of  being a leader, and has no other pets.
