Theo and Toby have been negelected their entire lives. Confined to a tiny, concrete backyard, they have never been walked, played with, allowed in the house or loved. And while their owner provides basic food and water, that is the only care these two babies have hever had.  Now their owner can't even bother with that and plans to euthanize them if they are not placed in a new home - and soon!

You will not be sorry to bring these lovely dogs into your life, and here's why: Despite their years of neglect, Toby and Theo are loyal, loving, smart and very well behaved dogs. They love people and get along with other dogs, and enjoy good long walks or visits to the park. Because Theo can be a little skittish around loud noises and fast movements, and because Toy does not react well to small animals, they will make an ideal pair for a quiet home where they can be the center of attention. They really need to be loved.

This pair has been bonded for years and have depended on each other for everything. For this reason we will not separate them and they must be adopted as a pair.

Toby is a  tan Shepherd mix, female, approx 30 lbs, 15 yrs old, low activity level, great with people and would do fine for 1st time dog owners. She's good with kids and other dogs.

Theo is a black Golden Retreiver/Chow blend, male, approx 100 lbs and 10 yrs old, he is moderately active, good with people and would be perferct for a 1st time dog owner. Theo is fine with other dogs and good with children.

Because neither dog has lived their lives inside the home, we aren't sure if they are housebroken.
