Gracie is a sweet, well-behaved, mild mannered gal. She lived with an elderly woman in a condo, but her owner had an accident and could no longer care for Gracie. Gracie's owner originally adopted her from the shelter a year ago, and was heart broken to have to return her to the shelter, however her health would not allow her to keep Gracie. Gracie is housebroken and minds well.. She stays close to you, and prefers a calmer envrionment, without a lot of excitement and activity. She would do great in an adult-only home, or a home with older (teenaged), calm, considerate children. She does well with smaller dogs but will tolerate bigger ones. Cats are a no no!! She takes a few minutes to warm up and then she is loving. She wants so bad to just be loved... She does great on leash and loves to go on walks. Gracie would make a great companion dog for a senior. Won't you open your heart and your home to dear sweet Gracie? She is just waiting for her forever family....
