Lewis (aka sweet Lou) is a healthy, handsome, happy, 13-month-old male pit bull that was recently found abandoned at a local Dog Park.  He LOVES people (and people's laps) and frequently rolls over on his back with his tail wagging against the ground, waiting for the eventual belly rub.  He has a lot of puppy energy, but he's happy to burn this off by playing fetch or by accompanying his human on jogs or bike rides.  Lewis is very smart and responds well to training - so far, he's learned "sit," "stay," and "down," and is pretty close to learning "leave it," "off," and "drop it."  Due to his foster family's bossy french bulldog, Lewis is temporarily staying in the backyard.  Although he has a nice space to run around and a comfy crate to sleep in, Lou is a lap dog at heart and needs to be inside and around people.  If his foster family didn’t already have two dogs and no space, they would happily adopt Lewis as their own. 

His sweet personality (and let's face it - his gorgeous face) are why his foster family is doing whatever they can to help him out: we know for certain that he will make a loving family incredibly happy.
