Hello Everyone,
My name is Elizabeth Ortensia De Cecco and I’m a beautiful and delicate little doxie mix girl of about 1 year old who weighs all of 9pounds. Mom says that good things come in small packages and, as far as she’s concerned, I’m a very, very cute package! (My furkid brother thinks so too!)
Morning is the start of my happy day, as I love to wake up
in the big people’s bed, of course) and cuddle for a few minutes. That’s my special time. After Mom has her tea , I want to play fetch and am happiest when I’m chasing a ball across the yard. (Did you know that I will actually retrieve the ball?) When you decide it’s time to stop, though, I understand and wait until you are ready to play again. I also love my toys – and those belonging to my doggy foster brother. I like to carry them around with me. Sometimes it makes people giggle when the toy is bigger than I am. But I’m undaunted!
In my foster home (and on my walks) I’m the official greeter – and I take my job very seriously. Mom says I’ve never met a stranger as am always friendly to everyone. When I see children I wag my tail and give ‘loves’ – and I never bark!
I like the dogs that we meet on my walks and get along with my doggie foster brother. I love to go for rides in the car (I’m really, really good) and for walks and I’m housebroken
Most of all, though, I just love being with people – and would love to be the center of someone’s world and the only dog in the home. Everyone who meets me tells Mom that I’m sweeter than sweet. It’s easy ‘cause I’m happy to be given love and attention. I also am a natural cuddler and lover and an amazing lap dog! (Mom says a sweet, smart and gentle furkid like me would be welcome in any home- and on any lap!)
