My name is Maverick, and I am a cute little golden retriever/ shepherd boy  about 12 weeks  old  Mom says I’m an adorable, charming and energetic little package -- and a real love bug.  I love to be close to my people and I also love to play. That makes me a wonderful combination, don’t you think?Dad says to tell you that I’m very smart and lots of fun. He says I have a number of favorite toys especially my tennis ball. I can play with it by myself – but also enjoy playing with him or Mom. And I enjoy being with other furkids. We can play tug-of-war or chase or ‘wrestle.’ Then we stop so we can recharge our batteries!I’m good in the car, crate trained and want to please. Did they tell you that I already learned ‘sit’ and am working on ‘leave it’? Oh, and that I’m learning to walk on a leash, too? It is only a matter of time until I dazzle them with all that I can do and learn!I’m a pretty typical puppy in many ways. I’m healthy, active, fun-loving and cuddly – and a really good little boy. If you need to correct me, I listen. I’m playful and joyful and cute and smart but I also have some things I’m working on.I like people and want to greet them all and make them my friends. Mom is helping me to learn how to be gentle and ‘appropriate’ when we meet ‘cause I have all this puppy energy (when I’m not being calm, loving and cuddly, that is!)I have expressive eyes, a very loving heart and am looking to share your home and lap. There is no doubt that I will love you to pieces.
