Luke is an adorable a 3- year old white terrier mix and people always love to stop and meet him. He is shy and quiet, but gets along well with any loving and gentle adult. Luke does not like sudden motion and loud noise, so we do not recommend a home with children, although he doesn't have the disposition to hurt anyone. Last spring, his foster family had a toddler visitor named Beth who stayed with them for a week. At first, Luke was shy, but then they became friends. Amazingly, Luke looked after Beth when Beth's mom was busy with other things. One day, Beth tried to walk on the stairs to find her mom. Luke knew from Beth's mom not to get near the stairs - he barked loudly to get Beth's mom's attention and saved little Beth from hurting herself. Luke is a hero!
Luke was a rescued dog and currently, he is living with a family with two young children, two dogs (one male and one female) and three cats. He has no problem with other dogs and cats. He loves a daily walk, although it is not required. He is neutered and weighs about 21 lbs. He had his last vet exam in December and is healthy with up-to-date vaccines.
