Beautiful Lana was dumped at North Centeral shelter on July 2nd and only had a couple of days left when Dogz In Need was able to pull her in early September and save her life. She's now in boarding at Rescue Oasis in Palmdale, CA and looking for a foster or forever home. Lana had a hard time in the shelter and was very scared having no one to comfort her. Her original owners interacted with Lana during the first year of her life, but the second year they had her in the yard 24/7 and didn't have "time" for her and basically just fed her.
Out of the shelter, Lana is a different dog. She is sweet, affectionate, and good with other dogs. She is also very independent, exploring the property on her own. Lana loves to run and sits and gives paw . She can be food aggressive, but that is common and can be worked on with training.
